Temporary Car Insurance Blog

Hello,
I am a US citizen who will be purchasing a used car in the UK this summer, and driving it across Europe, to Mongolia. We are buying the car in April, then driving it to Germany, where it will be stored until July and we actually start the trip. What kind of insurance will I need to get? We are only going to be in Europe for about 10 days before crossing into the Ukraine and we will not be returning the car to Europe in the future, (donating it to charity in Mongolia). Is there some kind of short term EU insurance I can get to cover our time there?
